- 12 cups basmati rice
- 22 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, beans)
- 32 tbsp ghee
- 41 tsp cumin seeds
- 52 bay leaves
- 64 green cardamom
- 71 inch cinnamon stick
- 81 onion, sliced
- 91 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 101/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 111 tsp garam masala
- 12Salt to taste
- 13Fresh mint leaves
Instructions

Soak rice for 30 minutes. Drain.

Heat ghee, add whole spices and cumin seeds.

Add onions and cook until golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and vegetables. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add rice, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.

Add 4 cups water, bring to boil, then simmer covered for 20 minutes.

Garnish with mint and serve with raita.
