Paneer Bhurji

  • 1400g paneer, crumbled
  • 22 tbsp oil
  • 31 tsp cumin seeds
  • 42 onions, chopped
  • 52 tomatoes, chopped
  • 62 green chilies, chopped
  • 71 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 81/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 91 tsp red chili powder
  • 101 tsp coriander powder
  • 111/2 tsp garam masala
  • 12Salt to taste
  • 13Fresh coriander
  • 141 tbsp cream (optional)
Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

    Add onions and sauté until golden brown.

    Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for 2 minutes.

    Add tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.

    Add all spices and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add crumbled paneer and mix gently.

    Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add cream if using and garnish with coriander. Serve with roti.
