  • 11 cup yellow moong dal, soaked for 2 hours
  • 21 green chili
  • 31 inch ginger
  • 41/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 52 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 61/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 71/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 8Salt to taste
  • 9Oil for cooking

    Drain soaked moong dal and grind with green chili and ginger to a smooth batter.

    Add a little water if needed to make a pouring consistency.
