- 11 cup yellow lentils (moong dal)
- 22 cups basmati rice
- 31 onion, chopped
- 42 tomatoes, chopped
- 52 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 61 tsp red chili powder
- 71/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 81 tsp cumin seeds
- 92 tbsp oil
- 10Salt to taste
- 11Fresh coriander
- 12Lemon juice
Instructions

Wash and cook lentils with turmeric until soft.

Cook rice separately until fluffy.

Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Add onions and cook until golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes. Cook until soft.

Add cooked lentils and spices. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander.
